Spirit Song Festival

First Light’s Spirit Song Festival returns to St. John’s downtown core November 20th thru 26th for a week-long festival full of music, art, film, dance, culture and more. Now in its 10th year, the Spirit Song Festival is bigger and better than ever. You do not want to miss this.

Spirit Song Festival is a celebration of Indigenous Arts and Culture that has been running annually in St. John’s since 2013. Spirit Song has now grown into a multi-day event which boasts world class performances, traditional and contemporary knowledge sharing events as well as artist in residence series.

The festival is enjoyed by Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences alike. Spirit Song aims to support and promote Indigenous artists, strengthen our sense of community, as well as provide an opportunity for the greater public to experience the incredible work created by Indigenous artists from across Canada.

Performances by: Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Boogey the Beat, Notorious Cree, Native Pride Dancers, and Immali.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free all ages* event, tickets are available beginning Nov 4, 2022, at noon at the Mary Brown’s Centre Box Office Monday – Saturday noon – 4 pm, by phone at 709-576-7657, or online at mbcentre.ca.  You must have a ticket for entry.

*Although this event is all ages, some lyrics contain mature subject matter. Parental discretion is advised.
