Greg Bennett draws upon many different sources of inspiration in his paintings. However, he insists that he is most intrigued by the visual narratives that contribute profoundly to the creation of his artworks. In Diffused, we get to experience the view that Bennett enjoys from his apartment on Signal Hill Road. St. John’s, as glimpsed through glass on a rainy night, is a city of distorted and diffused lights. Feelings of reflection and consideration are inspired in the viewer.
